Single Point of Access

If you need help with anxiety or depression, you can contact Single Point of Access (SPoA). SPoA can make a referral onto the best service to help you and is open throughout the festive period. 9am to 5pm Mon - Fri except on bank-holidays.

BAND

BAND provides 1-1 and group support all year round, and also have a social space, Unit 9c, which was previously Cafe Dolce at Market Place.

UMEED Counselling Service

The Flowhesion Foundation provide over the phone and in person counselling for BAMER Communities. They offer male and female BACP registered counselling in Urdu, Bengali, Gujratti, Pashtoon and Somali. You will need to complete a referral form

 

MhIST - Mental Health Independent Support Team

MhIST aim to support people in a positive environment where YOU can achieve what you need to do. Their services and groups are free to use, but you do need an appointment in the first instance.

MhIST are still running face to face self-help groups, including bereavement support. People can self-refer by calling the number below or direct by email:
