Ask for Ani (Domestic Abuse)
ANI (pronounced Annie) stands for ‘Action Needed Immediately’ is a special code word people experiencing domestic violence can use at pharmacies.
All Boots pharmacies are taking part in the scheme.
People asking for Ani will be taken to a private, safe, and discreet room and asked if they want to call 999 or a domestic abuse helpline.
Pharmacies will display the Ask for Ani poster in their window so people know they can approach the pharmacy.
Always call 999 if you and your children are at immediate risk of harm.
Reach out, don’t suffer in silence.
