We aimed to gather a comprehensive set of responses from the people of Manchester on some of the key topics rasied in the NHS Long Term Plan.

Key findings

Most commented on topics were "Timely access to treatment and support, reviews and health checks" and "Healthy and active lifestyles"
Key themes included
- Appointment times
- A week wait is too long
- Waiting lists
- Check-ups
- Mental health
- Location - distance

Conclusions

People wanted their relationships with professionals to be clear and honest.
Many respondents rating having time to talk with their professionals
People want their concerns to be taken seriously with long waiting times giving some the message their illness was of low priority.
People felt technology could be a positive solution to identified problems in the healthcare system.
